Begin IMEKO 2026 above the rooftops of Prague

The conference commences with a Welcome Ceremony and Get-Together Reception on September 16, 2026, in the Penthouse on the 10th floor of the CIIRC CTU building.

Perched above Prague, with its own terrace and views across the rooftops towards Prague Castle, the Penthouse is part of the Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics and Cybernetics. Its relaxed, informal atmosphere offers the perfect setting to reconnect with old friends, meet new colleagues, and enjoy the first conversations of the conference before the technical programme begins.

Getting there

The reception is held in the CIIRC CTU building on the CTU Dejvice campus, a short walk across the campus from the lecture room where the technical programme takes place.

  • Metro A, Dejvická station: about 5 minutes on foot.
  • From the airport: trolleybus 59 to Veleslavín, then Metro A to Dejvická.
  • By car: paid parking is available near the campus.
